Using SC ch4, sl st in first ch to form a loop, crochet 8sc into loop, sl st in first sc to join – (8)

Hood Eyes (make 2)
Round 1
Using G, ch4, sl st in first ch to form a loop, crochet 8hdc into loop, do not join – (8)

Round 2
Ch1, TURN, *1hdc, 2hdc* repeat from * to * until end – (12)

Round 3
Ch1, TURN, 1hdc front post stitch around each previous hdc post across (or just 1hdc in ea st across if easier) – (12)

Rounds 4 – 5
Ch1, TURN, hdc2tog until end – (6) (3) Fasten off and tie in all tails.
Take a short strand of black yarn and tie 3 knots into centre, sew each end onto eye and tie on inside. Stuff your eyes slightly and sew finish frog eye onto main hood.

Hair
Place hook into any stitch near to the hood but to the right hand side of the face, then poke hook up through next st as if doing a front post stitch, yarn over with HC and pull loop of yarn through to other side, ch15 and repeat across forehead, slip stitching each time you pull the yarn through before chaining. 6 loops of chains should be enough. Fasten off and tie in all tails when complete.

Bow
Round 1
Using DP ch9, 1hdc in second st from hook and in ea st across – (8)

Rounds 2 – 8
Ch1, TURN, 1hdc in ea st across – (8) 

Finishing
Fold in half length-ways and slip stitch each side together (or sew if easier). Fasten off leaving a long tail. Sew tail to centre and wrap around bow tightly to draw in. Sew onto head. I also used a little bit of fancy yarn to add a bow onto the front under the chin and some pink chalk brushed on for blushies.
